A cat has been caught crossing the street and it looks like it may be a sign of trouble.
The cat has also been spotted walking down the street at night.
It’s not clear if the cat is being watched by a passerby, but a number of other cat lovers have posted about the cat on social media.
One user, who goes by the handle “cat_kitty”, shared a photo of a cat on the street, holding a plastic toy.
“I just noticed a cat walking on the sidewalk,” he wrote.
“Its probably just a sign that it is in the middle of the night.”
Another user, known as “dogcat”, posted a video showing a cat crossing the road at night with the caption “this cat crossed the street!”
He captioned the video: “This is the last thing I want for the next 2 days.”
The cat was spotted in the early hours of Monday.
The street cat had apparently gone through the city’s busy “street-lamps” when it made its way across the road.
“It was definitely a sign it was night time and that there was some activity in the area,” said the cat owner, who did not want to be named.
“The cats were obviously afraid of cars and cars scared the cat.”
Police said they are aware of the cat and are investigating the incident.
